Nina Knight (violist)
Nina Knight enjoys a versatile career as a performer and pedagogue. Performance and teaching opportunities have taken her to concert halls and universities in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
In Houston, Texas, Dr. Knight maintains an active performance schedule. In recent years she has performed with the Madu String Quartet, the Kolonneh String Quartet, the Axiom Quartet (2015-2018), Aperio-Music of the Americas, and the Texas New Music Ensemble. As a collaborative artist she has premiered works for string quartet, viola and piano, viola and cello, and viola and dance.
Her influential teachers include Wayne Brooks, Tania Maxwell Clements, Laurie Carney, and Beth Newdome. She plays on a viola made by Marengo Romanus Rinaldi (Turin,1897). Learn more: www.nbkstrings.com

Roberto de Guzman
Philippine-born clarinetist Roberto de Guzman is an engaging educator and performer in the greater Houston area. As a freelance musician, he has played with various ensembles in the area including The Symphony of Southeast Texas, Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Symphony, and Theater Under the Stars. His interests in chamber music have garnered him a semi-finalist placement with the Axiom Winds in the Coltman Compeition in Austin, TX. Additionally, he and saxophonist Ellie Parker were invited to perform at the first International Duo Symposium at Sam Houston State University.
Along with a private studio practice, he currently holds a position as an adjunct faculty member at Lee College in Baytown, TX and previously taught at the Texas A&M -Kingsville.
Roberto received his BM from the University of New Mexico, MM from Arizona State University, and DMA from the University of Houston. His primary teachers include Chester Rowell, Dr. Robert Spring, Dr. Joshua Gardner, and Keith Lemmons.

Bing Wei (cellist)
A Native of China, cellist Bing Wei now resides in Houston, Texas, where she appears as a performer and educator. Ms. Wei has traveled worldwide, with performances in China, the United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Switzerland, and England performing with world-known artists, including Leon Fleisher and José Carreras. She has participated in the Tanglewood Music Festival, Texas Music Festival, and Astona International Music Festival. As an avid chamber musician, Ms. Wei is a member of the RADIX Cello Quartet and plays with the Texas New Music Ensemble.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore, Master’s degree from Rice University Shepherd School of Music, and Music Certificate from University of Houston’s Moore School of Music, where she studied under Liwei Qin, Norman Fischer, and Anthony Kitai. Currently, Ms. Wei is a Doctoral candidate at the Moore School of Music.
